RESUME

Hello!

I am Lex Williams, a working artist in Center City Philadelphia.

I currently hold an Associates in Art, and am always looking to further my studies whether it be self taught or involving more college or community education. My works focus on bringing fluidity into the home while being ecologically friendly, using my knowledge from my previous backgrounds in construction and the arts. As a mixed media artist, I am open to most opportunities that come my way. 

At the age of 15, I began apprenticing in construction and learned the basics of electrical, tiling, plumbing, carpentry, house flipping, and the knowledge of shop tools. I’ve worked in construction every year since, and now at 23, I still get to apply all this knowledge in my work place and in the studio. I started pursuing tattoo artistry at 17, growing my portfolio until my eventual apprenticeship in 2020 with The Body Shop in East Brunswick. Today, I am constantly coming up with new artistic projects with focuses on installations and interactive pieces focusing on texture and color and life into one’s day to day.
